Hemi Your personal bowel health companion.
Hemi helps you understand how meals, bowel movements, and symptoms relate over time — through simple daily tracking that takes seconds, not minutes.

How it works
Track in seconds.
Logging should never feel like homework. Every entry in Hemi is designed to take less than ten seconds.
Log Meals
Take a photo or type your meal and Hemi picks out its food groups. Photos are analyzed, then discarded — never stored.
Log Symptoms
Record stool type, pain, and bleeding in just a few taps. Normal days are the fastest to log.
Discover Patterns
See simple insights based on your own history — one clear sentence at a time.
Inside the app
See it working.
Five screens you’ll actually use, and what each one is for.

Home
The whole day, one screen.
Rate the day with one tap — good, meh or flare — and see your week at a glance. Meals, water, symptoms and medicines are each a single tap away.

Meals
Photograph the plate.
Snap a photo or type it the way you'd say it. Hemi picks out the food groups that matter for your gut — dairy, spice, gluten, fried food and more — and you can correct anything before it's saved. The image is analyzed and discarded — it is never stored.

Patterns
What your bad days have in common.
Hemi weighs the days you flared against the days you didn't, and ranks what genuinely stands out. Presented as patterns in your own logs — never as causes. It also shows the meals that sit well with you.

For your clinician
Months of logs, one page.
Choose a date range and Hemi writes a plain-language summary — a calendar of flare and bleed days, bowel patterns, hydration — ready to share or print.

Ask
Answers from your own history.
Every figure is calculated from your logs before a word is written, so nothing is invented. Hemi says what it can see — and says so plainly when a sample is too small to lean on.
Why Hemi
Built for real life.
Hemi is designed for people living with chronic anal fissures, hemorrhoids, constipation, and other bowel conditions — the things that are hard to talk about, and even harder to keep track of.
No streaks to protect. No judgment. Just a quiet record of how your days actually go.
Private by design
Your logs belong to you. Meal photos are analyzed and immediately discarded — never stored. Export or delete everything, anytime.
Ten seconds a day
Most days, logging takes a few taps. The app is built around the days when everything is normal — those are the fastest to record.
Better doctor visits
Turn months of daily logs into a clear, one-page report you can hand to your doctor — frequency, trends, and what changed.
Your own patterns
Hemi helps you understand patterns in your own history — not averages from someone else's. What matters is what's true for you.
Why Hemi exists
“I stopped guessing what caused my flare-ups.”
That’s the whole idea. Not a diagnosis, not a cure — a clearer picture of your own body, built one ordinary day at a time.
Common questions
Questions, answered.
What is Hemi?
Hemi (Hemi: Hemorrhoid & Fissure on the App Store, at tryhemi.com) is an iPhone app for tracking hemorrhoid and anal fissure symptoms, meals, and bowel movements. It shows what lines up with your flare-ups and builds a one-page report you can take to your doctor.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your logs are stored securely in your account, and only you can access them. Meal photos are analyzed and immediately discarded — they are never saved anywhere.
Does Hemi replace medical advice?
No. Hemi helps you notice patterns and have better conversations with your doctor. It does not diagnose, treat, or make medical judgments.
Can I export my history?
Yes. You can download all of your logged data at any time, or generate a one-page report to share with your doctor. You can also delete everything permanently.
Do I have to log every day?
No. Hemi is most useful with regular logging, but missed days are fine. It is built for real life, not perfect streaks.
